Jacci Jaye is a NYC based Fashion Stylist and Image Consultant who began her career in advertising and editorial print, film, theater, and television. With over 13 years of experience, she has had the privilege of working with talented photographers, directors, models, actors, and corporations all over the world on everything from ad. campaigns, to fashion editorials, commercials, e-commerce, luxury and jewelry campaigns, fashion shows, look books, feature films, and of course personal styling. As years passed Jacci began to work on more and more commercials and photoshoots that involved executives from large corporations, and began establishing relationships and seeing the need for her services more on the personal side. More often than not, these executives would end up not only buying what she brought to the shoot to style them in, but would ask to be taken on as personal clients. Most of them were stuck in a style rut - wearing the same old outdated suit, having their "go to" stores and designers that may or may not be working for them anymore, or just be completely overwhelmed and clueless as to where to even start, or how to pair things together. Whether it be a complete wardrobe overhaul, or shopping for a specific item or event, Jacci absolutely loves working with her clients to help them put their best foot forward.

The Difference Between Independent Stylists and Store Personal Shoppers
A lot of stores are trying to convince customers that their personal shoppers provide the same services as personal stylists – this could not be farther from the truth. While in-store personal shoppers stick to their store dressing rooms, independent stylists visit their clients in their homes or offices. They help clients put together outfits from their existing wardrobe, and figure out what key staples might be missing………and ultimately how to integrate existing wardrobe with new purchases. A true personal stylist is an expert on fashion, trends, body image, color theory, brands, and stores for every location in the world, whereas a store personal shopper is an expert only on items in that store. Store personal shoppers are NOT stylists. It is a personal shoppers job to make a sales quota and sell you the most expensive items – whether or not they are right for you. Who would you rather trust – someone who works for you, with your budget in mind, or someone who works for a store or brand, and earns commission on how much they sell you?
